Start with a paragraph
Time is a precious commodity on the Net, and efficiency of communication is prized above all else. You should be able to describe your company in a few sentences--100 words or less. That's all the time you'll have to get most people's attention. If you can't get your basic selling proposition across in a paragraph, then you haven't done enough homework to define a specific market or business purpose. And once you do have a paragraph that works well for you, you can use it as the basis of e-mail responses, newsgroup postings, and home page introductions.
