Commit to an ad campaign

Running a classified ad, a web page, or a sponsorship notice shouldn't be a trial balloon. It should be a campaign to which you're committed for a specific period of time. Visibility on the Net comes through repetition, and reputation comes through consistency; you'll have neither if you run an ad for a week or two and then drop it. Commit yourself to running any classified ad for at least a month. Commit to a web page for at least six months. Without such commitments, you may as well not even bother.
